6th Meeting of the EBC*L National Representative Offices in Vienna

The 6th Meeting of the EBC*L Representatives in Vienna has become a meeting point for 40 participants from 25 countries and 4 continents.

The EBC * L family grows from year to year: the certificate is now represented in 31 countries and can be completed in 25 languages. Thus, the EBC * L has become a truly global project, which is operated by the EBC*L headquarter, based in Vienna.

The welcome of new members at the annual meeting of EBC * L Representative Offices will become a good tradition. Representatives from Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belarus, Mexico and Egypt attended our event for a first time. A representative from India has also joined us as a guest of the conference.

The meeting in Vienna took place under the sign of sales training to companies. The participants could highly benefit from the Austrian know-how. On the first day of the conference Astrid Napetschnig and Hannes Brandner have explained, why and how the sophisticated programme EBC * L was integrated in the educational and career-program of UNIQA-group. They showed which arguments they used to “sell” the topic "business competence" to they own colleagues, employees, managers and to the sales-partner.

The inputs of UNIQA were the important topic of conversations during all three days of the meeting. The feedbacks of the participants from different EBC*L countries were exclusively positive.

The European Commission for Enterprise and Industry is fully behind the EBC * L ideas. In the coming year the EBC * L Champions League will be sponsored by this Commission. This is an international competition in which participants from 15 countries can prove their business-competence skills. This competition was another focus of the Representative Meeting in Vienna.

Despite the intensive work on the weekend all participants succeeded to dance the Viennese Waltz in the evening. Although most of them had never danced waltz before, just after one hour of expert instruction provided by dance teacher Daniel Leutgeb our guests danced in three-four time through the hall of the beautiful Springer Schloessl.

Drinking of punch on Viennese Christmas markets was also a “must” for the evening programme.

Thus the underlying tone was: "We will be happy to come back next year." However next year already 35 countries will be expected.
